Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver and Alan Rickman star in this affectionate sci-fi comedy. The washed-up cast of Galaxy Quest, a cult 1980s space TV show, spend their days signing autographs at fan conventions until a group of real aliens, who have mistaken the broadcasts for historical documents, ask for their help. Beamed aboard a working replica of their old starship, the actors must play their roles for real to save the Thermians from the ruthless warlord Sarris.
