Scott Adkins and Dolph Lundgren star in this action thriller directed by Eric Styles. When a mysterious river monster in China attacks and kills several people, scientist Travis Preston (Adkins) travels out to investigate. When he arrives in the small fishing village he discovers, to his dismay, notorious hunter Harker (Lundgren) is also searching for the creature but with very different methods.
