Action thriller starring Jackie Chan as a volatile Hong Kong policeman. Chan Ka Kui (Chan) finds himself incapable of standing aside when Mr Ku, the druglord he has brought to book, walks free from court on a technicality. Assigned to protect Ku's secretary Selina (Brigitte Lin), Ka Kui is soon framed for the death of a fellow cop who was on the take from Ku's organisation, and must deploy all of his violent streetsmart to prove his innocence. The film features many notoriously dangerous stunts, choreographed and directed by Chan himself.
