At first greeted by her sullen and mysterious sister-in-law, it is some time before she at last meets her new husband who gives her a wedding gift of a doll's house, a scale replica of their lavish home. Strange things begin to occur in her surroundings however, and it soon becomes apparent that it may all be caused by the doll's house.
