However, the pair struggle to demonstrate any great abilities and their recruitment of magician Megumin (Rie Takahashi) and crusader Darkness (Ai Kayano) proves unsuccessful when they learn that they only possess one skill each. Nonetheless, the group stick together and despite their deficiencies do their best to defeat the Devil King's generals who roam the villages.
