Descriere:
The graphic novel adaptation of Kelly Yang's New York Times bestselling book Front Desk, with art by Fumio Obata. Ten-year-old Mia Tang has a lot of secrets: she lives in a motel, not a big house, and manages the front desk of the Calivista Motel while her immigrant parents clean the rooms. Her parents secretly let immigrants stay in the empty rooms for free, which would doom the family if the mean motel owner, Mr. Yao, found out. And she wants to be a writer, even though her mom thinks she should stick to math. It will take all of Mia's courage, kindness, and hard work to get through this year.
